It seems that you have these options:
Have someone with you who is a retired or active duty serviceperson. They can escort up to 10 people onto the base. Or, present proof that you used to be in the military ( a DD214 or Veteran Hospital card or driver’s license with Vet on it). Or–get on the tour bus on base that takes people to the lighthouse and walk to the cross from there. Lastly, if you have several weeks of prep time, send in the form below to the base to be cleared for entry for one year.
