For many years, I have found the Myers-Briggs Personality Inventory to be an accurate description of some of the personality traits in people. When I worked at Kempsville Presbyterian Church in the 80’s, we used it in our counseling department. Here is an online and free version of that test that I recommend to you ( with links to other free, online tests). There are probably other versions online also. In addition to getting your personality score as it were, you would be wise to find the interpretation keys that are also on the web that will help you understand how to weave your personality together with others in a way that is most helpful to everybody.

Here is another good visual overview of the test.

These kinds of tests can help people in any organization–to include a church– to work together better and love each other more effectively. I tested as an ENFP in this test. Here is my personality type that I received after taking the online test.  Now you know why I am such a great guy  :).  Actually, the real truth lies in 1 Cor. 15:10: “But by the grace of God I am what I am…”

Love to all,

Bob
