Revival Broke Out Near Historic Cane Ridge, KY on Pentecost Sunday 2018

Rick Curry is leading the meetings

I was just at Cane Ridge, Kentucky to visit the site of the 1801 Cane Ridge Revival meeting where 20,000 people came for three days and the Holy Spirit fell upon them so mightily that reports of it spread across the country and fanned the Second Great Awakening into a brush-fire that swept millions into the Kingdom!

While there, I spoke with Rick Curry about his revival meetings.  This is surely a sign–along with the other multi-week revivals going on in other places right now–that God is waking His Church to get ready for the BIG WAVE of revival–a Third Great Awakening across America that will also sweep the planet and hopefully bring in a billion souls or more!

Here is Rick Curry’s article in Charisma.

There has been prevailing intercession and profound prophetic utterance released in a myriad of settings as the current generation becomes increasingly desperate for revival. One consistent cry has been for the ancient wells of revival and awakening in the land to be opened once again and for the nation to encounter the manifest glory of God in the power of a pervasive move of God. Are ancient wells opening? Are you sounds of the early stages of awakening being heard in the land?

Since having the dream most commonly referred to as the “Appeal to Heaven Dream,” we have traveled the old trails of awakening and significant revivals in the nation. We have, like a multitude of others, cried out for God to come and heal the land. We have partnered with many ministries to visit once again the old paths of America’s early revivals in the wilderness. We traveled along the El Camino Real from the Southern border near El Paso, Texas all the way through New Mexico into the most northern portions of the state.

We were given a dream about visiting all of the original eight capital cities of the nation, and we sought to fulfill the word of the Lord concerning that. We have journeyed along the old Wilderness Trail, following the path of the Pioneers through the Cumberland Pass into Kentucky and the western front of the young expanding nation. However, recently we have experienced an unusual outpouring of the Spirit in what has now become a 16-week revival in Kentucky. This revival began just a few miles from the old Cane Ridge Meeting House in Bourbon County, Kentucky in an old church that was last remodeled in the 1850s.

Stoically sitting alongside a country road in Bourbon County, Kentucky is the Mt. Carmel Christian Church. Mt. Carmel began in 1818 when one of five men denounced from the pulpit of the Old Stoner Mouth Presbyterian Church for attending the Cane Ridge revival held a camp meeting on his farm. We came to Bourbon County to celebrate the 200th anniversary with this congregation on Pentecost Sunday and to speak at a regional gathering to be held at River of Life Ministries in Paris, Kentucky. We have been in revival ever since.

During the evening service at Mt. Carmel, as worship filled the old sanctuary, we heard a remarkable sound that seemed to reverberate throughout the entire sanctuary. I glanced up to look at Jennifer, and it was obvious that she and the minister sitting next to her had also heard the sound. It sounded as if every person in the sanctuary started simultaneously stomping their feet on the old wooden floors. I felt quickened in my spirit that it was the sound of the Lord coming upon the land. It sounded like many horses thundering upon the land.

The worship that night was a single psalmist worshiping on an upright piano, leading the congregation into wonderful adoration of the King of glory. She was wholly attentive to hosting the presence of the Lord in worship and inviting us to go a journey with her. We went.

The altars were filled with people at the conclusion of the service. The people had lined all the way up the aisles of the church for prayer to the doors at the back of the sanctuary. People were crying and laughing hysterically at the same time. You could see people lying on the floor or gathering in their pews to pray with one another.

The sound of jubilant breakthrough was resonating from the hearts of the people in that service, and it was as though we all knew revival was being birthed. A revival on old Kentucky soil that had witnessed a move of God at Cane Ridge, just a few miles away, was about to erupt again with the manifest glory of God.

During revival services over the last 15 weeks, we have seen pastors and leaders repenting, weeping and laughing in an outpouring of refreshing. We have seen people saved, delivered and many returning to the Lord surrendering their yielding hearts.

We have seen many miracles and hearings that are really stunning in this stage of the revival. There have been at least two documented cases of healing of cancer along with many other miracles and dramatic healing. In addition to pastors and people coming from all over Kentucky, we have also had ministers visit the revival from numerous states including Ohio, Indiana, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Oklahoma and New Jersey, to name a few. We now enter into week No. 16 with no end in sight.

Kentucky leaders are creating synergy and releasing strategy for Kentucky’s awakening. The Lord is summoning leaders to come together in humility, honor and the heart of the Father for a generational move of God all across the nation.

Are you ready to take your place?”

The Fires of Revival in 2018

The Holy Spirit Is Bubbling Up Across Mid-America!

God’s Spirit is continuing to fall on the United States of America and the fires of revival are spreading!

At the time of this article, the Greeneville Awakening is now going into its twentieth week, with no signs of stopping. In fact, on Friday night, the last night of week nineteen, when I was there, D.R. said “We are just getting started!” Over 600 people have given their lives to Christ under the tent. At least 30 states have been represented, coming from all over the country.

Up until a few weeks ago, these states were all states in the East. However, within the last few weeks, the revival fires have burned so bright that those from the West have made the trip, Utah and Washington now being represented under the tent! In addition to these states, over 300 churches have come together, churches spanning all denominations! The revival is now on the radio, broadcast all over the world, and the first day of the radio program, 27 different countries tuned in. It is estimated between 2,000-5,000 people gave their lives to Christ as a result of that one night, and it will be on the radio every night from now on!

Christ’s Fellowship in Georgia has been experiencing revival since February. It is not uncommon for more than 40 people to walk to the front and be baptized. For the past six months, physical healings, deliverance, and more than 500 baptisms have taken place during the Sunday night services. According to the pastor, “We had one woman come to pick up her sister from the service. She walked into the door, and she fell under the conviction and got baptized. It was amazing.” People have come from hundreds of miles away to experience what God is going in this congregation.

Around 100,000 people in Southern California gathered for the 29th annual SoCal Harvest from August 17-19.  Pastor and evangelist Greg Laurie spoke each night, placing special emphasis on California’s, and our nation’s, need for revival. More than 10,000 people responded to the nightly invitations to make a commitment to Christ.

A U.S. Army chaplain describes a revival that is occurring on a military base in Missouri. In one post, he writes, “Today, 380 soldiers came to salvation in Christ once and for all. Since March 11, 2018, we have seen 1,839 soldiers coming to Christ. God’s doing an unbelievable work through our military at Fort Leonard Wood, MO.

A church in Corpus, Christi, Texas has seen an incredible move of God this summer. They planned four consecutive Wednesday meetings in July, and from the beginning it was obvious God was moving. The first Wednesday, over 100 people gave their lives to Christ and then the second Wednesday, an additional 100+ people came forward. “The following Wednesday, 200 people responded—many actually running to the altar.”

One thread to each one of these revivals is a hunger for God. The revival in Texas “first started when senior Pastor Mike Fehlauer developed a deep hunger to see more of God’s presence.” The staff joined with him in prayer that an awakening would take place. The revival in Georgia was birthed out of a 21-day church fast. Shortly after this fast, the pastor noted “God sat down in our building and rocked our world.” Prayer has also been a major part of Greeneville.

One of the things I learned when I was in Greeneville is that the property where the tent is has been heavily prayed over. A lady used to walk all over the property, praying that God would send revival. Not only did God answer that prayer, but God answered it right on that very property! The service we attended began with probably a thirty-minute season of prayer. This was not a perfunctory opening prayer, but a time when people from all over the congregation came to the front and were pleading for the presence of God. Later in the service, as D.R. was still preaching, people were walking up to the front, kneeling in prayer. I could hear groans and cries being uttered (Romans 8:26), people desperate to encounter God. By the end of the message, countless people were up front, crying out to God. Each night after the services, at 11:00, the men meet for prayer. In the morning, the women meet for prayer. This praying, this fasting, this desperation is a key to seeing God move and as the body of Christ in America cultivates this desperation, God is on the move!

God is Orchestrating The Healing of the Korean Peninsula

What just happened in Singapore is a beginning.

Over 80 Christian leaders called Americans to prayer for North Korea in preparation for the historic June 12th meeting between Presidents Trump and Kim Jong Un!  Read about this prayer movement in Charisma or in the Christian Post News.

This is in addition to a 40 Day Worship event in South Korea starting on April 29th for unity between the Korea’s.
Let’s keep praying. Let’s pray for the salvation of Kim Jong Un.

Here is a prophecy that he will be saved.

Here is report from 2005 in which Shawn Boltz reports an angel visited him to tell him that that God is going to reunite the Korean Peninsula!

Incredible? Yes! Impossible? No!

Let’s pray for God to save NK President Kim Jong Un. He is the key to most of what God wants to do to heal the Korean Peninsula.  Once He knows the Lord, all heaven could break out there!

Invitation to Watch Livestream of Turnaround Prayer Conference

At a home in Chesapeake: Feb 22-24

Hi Prayer Warriors!

We are entering a crucial time in the history of our Nation. A time for America to continue to spiral downward or rise up in the power and righteousness of Our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ! Intercession in the Holy Spirit is the pathway to revival!

Because of this call of the Lord to intercede like never before, we are opening our home this weekend starting on Thursday evening at 7PM and ending on Saturday afternoon in order to LIVESTREAM the Conference from D.C.

We’ll be listening and praying along with the prophetic prayer warriors gathered at the Trump Hotel. It will be a time of crying out to the Lord for Breakthroughs in America, the Supreme Court, the Administration, etc. Prepare yourselves to be used mightily as we pray with one voice to Heaven and push back the enemy! Together we will see victories this year!

Below is a message from Dutch Sheets and also Conference times listings!

Dear Friends,
Convene: to come together or assemble, usually for a public
purpose; to summon to appear, as before a judicial officer
As we gather on 2/22—some in Washington, D.C., others via Livestream—we are not gathering for a typical conference. As the above definition states, we have been “summoned to appear before a judicial officer”— the Supreme Judge of the universe, the Ancient Of Days, the Most High God. He has summoned us as His ekklesia, the expression of His Kingdom government on earth, to gather before Him.

We know that Christ is the “Head” of this ekklesia, the Church. In both Hebrew (rosh) and Greek (kephale), the concept of a head refers not only to a physical head, but to “the highest in rank or authority; the one to whom others are subordinate.”

Christ is the highest ranking ruler “in heaven and on earth” (Matthew 28:18), and has delegated that authority to His ekklesia, in order to enforce His kingdom rule on planet earth through her. In His model prayer, He told us to COMMAND His kingdom to come and His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10).

For more information on prayer points to be covered at the Turnaround Conference, go to
www.dutchsheets.org

See you this weekend. It will be history in the making! Praise God!

Great Online Training to Heal the Sick and Hear the Voice of God

50% discount ends soon for January semester.

I have had tons of training in how to do the three main works of Jesus ( preach, heal, deliver from demons)—mainly from Dr. Randy Clark’s ministry ( Randy will be here in 2018 to train people in healing ministries).  But I am trying to draw closer to God and love people the way Jesus did with signs and wonders so I am excited to study and recommend Jason Chin to you as a resource to mature your ability to love people like Jesus did with words and deeds of Kingdom power.

It’s biblical and so effective to show people what a good God we know through signs and wonders!  Young people love this!!  Look at this video of teens getting rocked by the love and power of Jesus at Disneyland after being getting healed by 30-second prayers!  Why would we NOT want to learn how to cooperate with the God and do the works of Jesus like this?? Here is a set of healings that happened at our church in 2012. Jesus was glorified and people were healed of pain they had for years!  More and more churches in Hampton Roads are reporting healings through prayer in Jesus Name!  Go God!!

I highly recommend Jason Chin. He is on Youtube with lots of free training and has a great book & website out called Love Says Go. He also has this online school that looks really good—now with 50% discount for a week ( 50% DISCOUNT ENDS very soon). If you miss that, check out the book and Youtube videos.  🙂

Worship & Marriage Ministry by Terry & Barbi Franklin: Oct 11-12

Free Worship Concert, Pastor's Meeting and Marriage Seminar Preview

A Treasure Hampton Roads Needs to Discover!

We are honored to have Terry & Barbi Frankin of Nashville, TN. visit Hampton Roads for the third time in four months.  The Franklins lead worshippers into heavenly places and have a beautiful marriage ministry–both of which have blessed thousands across the world for 25 years.  I met them at the home of our friends, Pastor Peter & Margaret McLewin, over dinner.  The Franklin’s had just lead another worship session at Peter’s church, Ingleside Church in Norfolk that weekend.

After dinner, Teri & Barbi led us in worship that was really heavenly. Barbi also sings prophetic songs over people as she plays the violin.  So refreshing! They also shared about how they have built a beautiful marriage after decades of godly prayer together. Click here for a video Terri wrote and sings that really speaks to me as a husband.

I was deeply touched by all of that and I sensed that these two have the kind of seasoned, wise and holy hearts that could help many in Hampton Roads, especially our Christian leaders. We pastors and ministry workers need this kind of ministry. They know lots of ministers, even many famous ones. They knew the agonies and the ecstasies of ministry first hand–especially how to have a strong marriage in ministry.

The McLewins and I heartily recommend the Franklin’s to the Body of Christ in Hampton Roads.  The videos online do not do them justice.

This Oct 11-12, on Wednesday evening and twice on Thursday, they will be ministering to us.  They will lead a service of just worship on Wednesday Oct. 11 at Ingleside Church at  925 Ingleside Rd, Norfolk, VA 23502 starting at 7 PM.  Free and open to the public!

Pastors can meet them at 10:30 on Thursday morning to learn more about their marriage ministry.  Click here to see many details about that. This meeting will be at the IHOP restaurant in Kempsville at 1316 Fordham Dr, Virginia Beach, VA 23464.  That night at 7 PM, Terri & Barbi will lead a shorter time of ministry and give us a preview of what their marriage seminars look like. This meeting place will be announced at the morning meeting. Contact me at this email if you wish to be notified of that location.

Here is more detailed information about the Franklin’s. You will be surprised at the breadth and depth of their ministry!

Terry & Barbi Franklin are singers, songwriters, and speakers that have ministered full- time for over 32 years as a duo, focusing on their theme: “Inspiring Love in the Home & Revival in the Church.” Through Family Worship Events and Marriage Retreats nation-wide, as well as in 39 countries worldwide, they are touching countless marriages and families with the hope and love of Jesus.

Terry & Barbi possess a burning desire to see God bring Revival and Awakening to the church… starting inside our homes… and spreading to the whole Family of God and ultimately to unbelievers. Their sons, Tyler and Travis, ministered with them until their later college years, and now they are both married. As skilled singers, along with Terry’s abilities at the keyboard and Barbi’s talent on violin, they lead listeners into a worship experience that touches many hearts through their harmonies and heart-felt message.

Giving all the glory to God for His blessings and favor, they have founded a mission’s organization called Heart for the World, Inc, (now called Love Sings) which focuses on evangelism as well as bringing encouragement to marriages and families world-wide. Through marriage retreats, evangelistic festivals, and worship gatherings around the globe, the Franklins have seen many thousands of souls saved, churches planted, and lives changed by their message of hope, redemption, and restoration.

Through the years, they have worked with many well-known Christian leaders and artists such as Billy Graham, Jim Cymbala and The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, Focus on the Family, Coach Bill McCartney and Promise Keepers, Adrian Rogers, Jack Hayford, Steve & Annie Chapman, Bill & Gloria Gaither, David Jeremiah, Kay Arthur, Gary Smalley, Judge Roy Moore, Josh McDowell, Don Wildmon and The American Family Association, and many others. ( Empahsis mine)

As songwriters, they have had noteworthy success. Artists across a wide range, from The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir to Carrie Underwood have recorded their songs. They have won numerous Dove Awards and award nominations but more important to them are the changed lives and healed marriages and families they have seen through the years as God has used them.

Lot’s of Youtube videos of their music ministry here.   I looked at a few. Honestly–these videos do not communicate the power of their worship ministry now. They are at a new level of ministry now from what I have seen.

Come and see:

Wednesday, Oct 11 at 7 PM at Ingleside Church in Norfolk

at 925 Ingleside Rd, Norfolk, VA 23502

Thursday at 10:30 AM at the Kempsville IHOP at 1316 Fordham Dr, Virginia Beach, VA 23464

What if President Trump Called for International Day of Prayer for a  Peaceful Resolution to the North Korean Missile Crisis?

God Would Love it!

Imagine the leaders of the world being asked to call their nations to pray for this!!

Imagine God answering this international day of prayer in such a way that world leaders see massive prayer as another option in solving world problems besides diplomacy, sanctions or military intervention!

President Trump recently signed a National Day of Prayer for the victims of Hurricane Harvey.  President Trump is bold enough to do what no world leader has ever done: make a global appeal to the leaders of every nation to call their nations to prayer for this missile crisis to end peacefully!

Pray that some Chrisitan leaders can suggest this to him!  Some are trying right now.

1907 Korean Revival

Do It Again, Lord!

Revival swept the Korean peninsula in 1907 with wonderful results that resulted in many salvations and tremendous spiritual growth of the Korean Church

Here is one account by a student of revival.  I have included this article below to make it easier to read the text.

Here is a report from a Korean on this revival stressing the expressions of the Holy Spirit that happened then.

Let’s pray for the wells of revival there to be opened again!  Pray for the salvation of President Kim Song Un and his family!   God wants to sue him to set his country free to worship Jesus!

Pyongyang Great Revival (1907-1910)

From 150 Years of Revival by Mathew Backholer

The first Protestant missionary to Korea was a Welshman, the Rev. Robert Jermain Thomas. He arrived in Korea in 1866 where he sold classical Chinese Bibles (which could be read by Koreans, Japanese and Chinese) and risked decapitation if caught. Korea, known as the Hermit Kingdom was still a closed land to foreigners…

On the 2 September 1866, Rev. Robert Jermain Thomas was martyred on the river bank (alongside all the crew of the merchant-marine schooner that he was traveling on) outside of Pyongyang, (the present capital of North Korea) and the center where the 1907 revival broke out.

…In 1886, the first Protestant Korean was baptized and by 1887 there was seven Korean converts. Korea saw its first revival in 1903 and it was known as the Wonsan Revival Movement and both the Presbyterians and Methodists reaped large harvests as they were united to exalt Jesus Christ. In 1904, there was 10,000 converts in Pyongyang and by the middle of 1906, after 30,000 new converts in that year alone, the revival had waned and died out.

Pyongyang, Korea, in 1907 was known as a city of wine, women and song. It was a dark city in the early twentieth century with sin abounding. It even had its own Gisaeng (Korean geisha) training school. It was in this city that Korea’s second revival began in January 1907 after months of persistent prayer, 50,000 people were converted in that one year and Korea was set ablaze – it was known as the Pyongyang Great Revival (1907-1910).

Missionary, John McCune in a letter wrote: ‘…The work of the Holy Spirit here at the Jangdaehyun Church where revival first broke out would far surpass what we have read about the great revival in Wales and India…’

…In September 1906, Dr. Howard Agnew Johnston, of New York, whilst in Seoul, informed a group of missionaries and Korean Christians about the Khasi Hills Revival, (1905-1906) in India. Jonathan Goforth, a missionary to China and Manchuria wrote that because of this more than twenty missionaries from Pyongyang Presbyterian and Methodist missions resolved to meet together to pray daily for ‘greater blessings.’ Over the Christmas period, the Pyongyang Christians met each evening for prayer, instead of their usual festive celebrations. The evening prayer ceased at the start of the Pyongyang General Class but continued at noon for those who could attend.

A Bible colporteur from Kan Kai Church along the Yalu River, of 250 believers was also in Seoul. He heard Dr. Johnston and encouraged his church to meet for prayer at 5am through the autumn and winter of 1906-1907. For six months they prayed until the Holy Spirit came as a flood.

…Jonathan Goforth, missionary to China and Manchuria on his tour of the country in June 1907 said, “Those missionaries seemed to carry us right up to the throne of God. The Korean movement was of incalculable significance in my life, because it showed me at first hand the boundless possibilities of the revival method. Korea made me feel, as it did many others, that this was God’s plan for setting the world aflame.” Jonathan Goforth went on to have a powerful ministry and saw revival in China and Manchuria during 1907-1909 and again in 1915 in various cities.

…South of Pyongyang, Jonathan Goforth passed through Songdo, the ancient Korean capital. In 1907 the revival had added 500 to the Church, but during a month of special meetings in 1910, 2,500 were added to the Church because of the incredible fields which were white unto harvest (John 4:35).

Jonathan Goforth wrote: ‘When we visited Seoul in 1907, every church was crowded. A missionary said that on a six weeks tour he had baptized 500 and recorded 700 catechumens, and that his five out-stations, in one year, had increased to twenty-five. During 1910 there were 13,000 people in Seoul who signed cards saying they wanted to become Christians, and in September of that year, the Methodist churches of the city received 3,000 by baptism.

‘Directly west of the capital, at the port of Chemulpo, the Methodist Mission, in 1907, had a church with 800 members. Opposite the harbor was an island with 17,000 inhabitants. The churches on the island had a baptized membership of 4,247, and more than half of them had been brought in that year. The Christians were praying that soon the whole island would become the Lord’s.’

…In 1910, the British and Foreign Bible Society through its Bible Colporteurs sold the immense total of 666,000 books to the people of Korea, most of them single gospels! A Church at Sang Sim Li, which had birthed sixteen other churches in the district, in connection with the ‘Million Movement’ (the aim of which was to win one million souls for the Lord) were believing for four hundred new converts; their share of the million, and so stepped out in faith and enlarged their church from 36ft. sq. to 225 ft. sq.!

…Paget Wilkes, founder of the Japanese Evangelistic Band visited Korea in March 1911. In his journal, he wrote about the story of the Sensen Magistrate, a town in the north, where one in three of the population were Christian. When asked how things were going in his city he replied, “Go and ask the missionaries; they rule in Sensen.” Paget wrote: ‘He had but little to do. Quarrels and differences were settled before the Church, and not brought into the public courts – as St. Paul lays down in the Corinthians letters.’

Paget Wilkes wrote that on the 26 March 1911 he ‘spent a pleasant evening with Dr. Underwood, one of the oldest missionaries in Korea’ who said, “Twenty-four years ago I came to Korea and there was not one protestant Christian. Today there are 200,000, i.e. one to every fifty of the population…”

Praise Is Not an Option!

We have to--even in the worst of times. Remember Job?

This is from my son’s wife, Abigail. She leads intercessors in her church and knows a lot about how to deal with suffering.
 Job praised the Lord..anyway!

In the past few months I have seen, heard, and experienced some really tough times.

People have lost jobs and there has been financial struggles.  I have seen hearts broken from divorce and broken relationships.  People have died.  People are sick.  There are those with agonizing chronic illnesses.  I met someone who was homeless and was pleading with the Lord for a safe place to call home.  There is anger and strife; depression and anxiety.  There is despair, heartache, pain, and loss.  There are many disappointments and many tears shed.  And then the Lord reminded me of Job.

According to God, Job was the finest man in all the earth.  A man of integrity and prosperity.  A man that feared the Lord and stayed away from evil.  Do you know anyone like that?  God loved Job so much that even Satan couldn’t get to him because of the wall of protection around him, his home, and his property.

Job was a wealthy man owning thousands of animals and many servants.  He was a family man.  He loved his children so much and held God in such high reverence that he would purify his children by offering burnt sacrifices to the Lord.  He was a well known man.  So well known, that Satan himself had his eye on him.  Now, I know we know how the story goes.  Satan petitions the Lord to test him.  God agrees.

In his first test, there were four big blows and all at the same time.  Animals were stolen, farmhands killed, fire burned his sheep and all his shepherds, camels were stolen and more servants killed, and last but not least, all his children died.  Can you imagine?  And that was just the first test.  All of this news coming to you at one time, one messenger after another delivering heart wrenching news.

Do you know what Job did?  He worshiped!  He fell to the ground and worshiped.  He lost everything he owned and everything he cherished.  In his deep pain, grief, and disappointment he fell to the ground and worshiped his God.  Job 1:21, “…The Lord gave me what I had, and the Lord has taken it away.  Praise the name of the Lord!”  His response to all that news was “Praise the name of Lord.”

Let us be encouraged this month to worship and praise our precious Lord in all the heartache, suffering, and grief.  Job’s response was not at all what the Accuser, Satan, was expecting or anticipating.  Job’s act of worship and praise was a threat to the enemy.  Graham Cooke in his book, “Qualities of a Spiritual Warrior”, states, “Praise is not an option.  It is an absolute necessity, like air and water.  Your revelation of God must result in a praise proclamation against the enemy.”

Attention Intercessors: You are warriors!  We must worship and praise even in all the tragedies.  It only takes a few to set the example for others.  It may not bring the dead back to life, heal you instantly, or put money in your bank account.  But it will change the atmosphere.  It will glorify God, advance His purposes for his kingdom, and it will kill the enemy.  It takes practice. Will you join me as God teaches us how to praise and worship in the midst of a dying and corrupt world?  We must first learn it for ourselves so that we may demonstrate it to others.

The next time you receive some devastating news, as Job’s friends put it, “his suffering was too great for words” kind of news.  And whether it affects you directly or someone you are praying with, let us fall to the ground in holy worship and praise the name of the Lord.

It’s not going to be easy, but as God encourages us and teaches us we can say as Job did in 23:10, “But he knows where I am going.  And when he tests me, I will come out as pure as gold.”

You are oh so treasured and like Job, some of the finest men and women I know.

This is a Facebook Live video from Dr. Jonathan Welton who is on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/drjonathanwelton/

I put this on Youtube just to get this important message out to more people. It can be hard linking to a FB video if you are not on Facebook.

This video presents the best possible Christian answer to the burning question: “What do we do about the North Korean Missle Crisis?”  This dream just happened apparently.

When he becomes a follower of Jesus, his testimony and changed behavior will rock the world and possibly protect many from a war in Asia–and set his nation free to enjoy their lives with greater prosperity and freedom.

NOW is the time to pray for the salvation of Kim Jong Un and his family!
